CASKETS are ripping open old wounds with their brand-new single “Closure”, a gut-punch of emotion that refuses to sugarcoat the end of a toxic cycle. The track arrives with a cinematic video, offering a first look into the Yorkshire crew’s upcoming third album, The Only Heaven You’ll Know, dropping November 7 via SharpTone Records.
Frontman Matt Flood doesn’t hold back: “‘Closure’ is about hitting that breaking point — realizing the answers you’ve been searching for will never come, and the only way forward is to walk away. It’s about battling lies, deceit, and the fights you never wanted to fight in the first place. I’ve learned sometimes closure isn’t given by others — it’s finding the strength to finally say, ‘It’s over, and that’s okay.’”
The single sets the tone for what Flood calls “the sound of me falling apart in real time.” Across the album, CASKETS dive into themes of rotting love, drowning behind fake smiles, and clawing through chaos in search of survival. The Only Heaven You’ll Know isn’t about salvation — it’s about scars, survival, and the proof that you made it through when you thought you were doomed.
