Rock icons Foo Fighters have officially announced their 12th full-length studio album, Your Favorite Toy, arriving April 24 via Roswell Records / RCA Records.
The band has also released the album’s first single and title track, “Your Favorite Toy,” marking the first new Foo Fighters music of 2026.
“Your Favorite Toy” Out Now
An insidious earworm from the first spin, “Your Favorite Toy” delivers jagged guitar shards and sinister keyboard stabs that bob and weave over a relentless rhythmic pulse. Dave Grohl unleashes a sardonic new vocal tone across infectious choruses:
Get back Hear that, boy? Someone threw away your favorite toy for good For good
A bold first taste of the record, the track stands apart from anything in the band’s monolithic catalog while remaining unmistakably Foo Fighters.
Grohl shares:
“‘Your Favorite Toy’ really was the key that unlocked the tone and energetic direction of the new album. We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new.”
