German heavy metal legends Accept are marking a major milestone in 2026, celebrating 50 years of dominance with their upcoming release Teutonic Titans 1976–2026. The album arrives September 4 via Napalm Records and brings together an all-star lineup of 50 guest musicians to reimagine some of the band’s most iconic tracks.
Led by founding guitarist Wolf Hoffmann, the release spans 19 songs pulled from across Accept’s classic era, from I’m a Rebel (1980) through Eat the Heat (1989). Each track features a unique lineup of guest performers, giving these heavy metal staples a fresh edge while staying rooted in the band’s unmistakable sound.
Among the standout collaborations, Tobias Forge takes on “Save Us,” while “Fast As A Shark” gets an aggressive overhaul from Phil Anselmo, Kirk Hammett, and Mikkey Dee. “Balls to the Wall” features the unmistakable voice of Rob Halford alongside Matthias Jabs, while “Love Child” sees contributions from Billy Corgan and David Ellefson.
Additional appearances across the album include K. K. Downing, Bobby Blitz, Hansi Kürsch, Chris Jericho, Ralf Scheepers, Billy Sheehan, Ola Englund, and Jeff Loomis.
A newly recorded version of “Hellhammer” features Accept’s current lineup alongside Jason McMaster, bridging past and present in a fitting tribute to the band’s legacy.
Speaking on the release, Hoffmann shared:
“There is no better way to celebrate this 50-year anniversary than to have our musical peers, friends, and inspirations come together with us to record these classic ACCEPT songs. I hope everyone enjoys this very special record as much as we all enjoyed making it.”
Visually, the album artwork reinforces that legacy. The towering metallic “50” crashing into a devastated landscape presents Accept as a seismic force in heavy metal—an impact that has shaped the genre for half a century. It’s a bold, cinematic image that matches the scale of the project itself.
Teutonic Titans 1976–2026 will be available in multiple formats including limited edition vinyl, deluxe CD box sets, and digital editions. Pre-orders are available now.
