FROM ASHES TO NEW have unleashed their menacing new single “Drag Me”, out today (December 5) via Better Noise Music. The band also tease a massive tour announcement coming soon.
Featuring Danny Case (vocals), Matt Brandyberry (vocals), Lance Dowdle (guitar), Maty Madiro (drums), and Jimmy Bennett (guitar), “Drag Me” dives into a battle with the darkest parts of the self—delivered through crushing intensity and emotional weight.
“We wanted to create a song about feeling trapped in a war with yourself,” says Matt Brandyberry. “Every good thought gets buried beneath the bad… ‘Drag Me’ came from that place—the feeling of being pulled straight into hell by the parts of yourself you could never escape.”
“Drag Me” follows the band’s July single “New Disease,” their first new music after the expanded BLACKOUT (DELUXE) edition arrived in 2024.
FROM ASHES TO NEW continue building momentum following the success of BLACKOUT (2023), their first #1-charting album, which topped multiple iTunes and Spotify Rock/Metal charts worldwide. The album has accumulated more than 310 million global streams, with critics praising its blend of alt-metal heaviness, emotional depth, and late-90s/early-2000s energy.
Stay tuned—major tour news is on the way.
