Future Palace continue their rise with the release of their new single “Deep Blue,” marking another strong step in their new chapter with Century Media Records.
The track explores the fear of losing someone — or losing your grip on yourself — as life becomes overwhelming.
“It’s about realizing you’re drifting away because everything feels too heavy,” says vocalist Maria Lessing.
The video expands on that theme with a dramatic underwater storyline. The band plays a submarine crew searching for a friend who has isolated herself so long that she has transformed into a siren. Her reaction to being found reflects how isolation can twist perception and convince you that no one is reaching out.
Musically, “Deep Blue” leans into the band’s signature mix of melody and weight.
“It blends our catchiest hooks with a harder guitar edge — a mix of what ‘Run’ and ‘Distortion’ did best,” adds guitarist Manuel Kohlert.
The result is a sharp, atmospheric release that speaks to anyone who has felt left behind or stuck in their own head.
