IN THIS MOMENT have released their ninth full-length album, WITCH, today, August 28, with the timing of the release coinciding with tonight’s full moon.
The album marks the band’s debut release through Better Noise Music and finds IN THIS MOMENT continuing to build on the combination of heavy riffs, massive melodies, theatrical visuals and emotional intensity that has defined their career.
The 11-track WITCH features several notable collaborations, including Dayseeker on the new single “I Want To Believe,” as well as Kim Dracula on “Heretic” and Kat Von D on the band’s cover of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick In The Wall.”
The “I Want To Believe” collaboration brings together IN THIS MOMENT frontwoman Maria Brink and Dayseeker vocalist Rory Rodriguez. The accompanying cinematic video matches the song’s darker emotional themes with the theatrical presentation IN THIS MOMENT are known for.
Brink describes “I Want To Believe” as a song about holding onto hope as things change and endings approach.
The new album was preceded by the singles “Crawl” and “Sleeping With The Enemy.” “Crawl” has already attracted attention from outlets including Metal Hammer and Revolver, while “Sleeping With The Enemy” has surpassed one million streams.
With WITCH, IN THIS MOMENT continue to push the band’s familiar mix of metal, alternative rock, theatrical imagery and emotionally charged songwriting into another chapter.
The band will also take WITCH on the road this fall as part of the Taste of Chaos Tour, alongside Hollywood Undead, I See Stars, VANA and Melrose Avenue.
