I had the pleasure of seeing Joe Satriani perform last night at the Danforth Music Hall in Toronto. It was an incredible show!
Joe is such an amazing guitar player and his band sounded great. They played a mix of old and new material, which was all fantastic. I particularly enjoyed hearing them play some of Joe’s older songs that I hadn’t heard live before.
The highlight of the show for me was definitely when Joe played his iconic song “Surfing with the Alien.” The whole place went crazy when they heard those opening notes and it was just an incredible performance all around.
I would highly recommend seeing Joe Satriani live if you get the chance – it’s truly an unforgettable experience!
The venue itself is fantastic – it’s a beautiful, historic theatre with great acoustics.
