Deathcore heavyweights Whitechapel are marking two decades of brutality with the announcement of their massive 20th Anniversary North American Tour, set to take place this fall. The trek will be the band’s largest headlining run to date and will feature a career-spanning setlist celebrating every era of Whitechapel’s evolution, from their early deathcore classics to material from their latest release, Hymns In Dissonance.
Joining Whitechapel on the road are fellow deathcore standouts Chelsea Grin and The Acacia Strain, along with rising newcomers Netherwalker on most dates. Fans can expect one of the strongest heavy music lineups of the year as the tour makes its way across the United States and Canada throughout November and December.
For Canadian fans, the anniversary celebration includes two highly anticipated stops north of the border. Whitechapel will perform at Montreal’s MTELUS on November 22 before heading to Toronto’s History on November 24. Both Canadian dates will feature support from Vancouver deathcore outfit Carcosa, making these shows especially noteworthy for fans looking to catch some of Canada’s fastest-rising heavy acts alongside one of the genre’s most influential bands.
The tour announcement comes during a banner year for Whitechapel. Their latest album, Hymns In Dissonance, has been praised by critics and fans alike for its crushing heaviness and relentless intensity, earning strong chart positions and reaffirming the band’s status as one of modern deathcore’s defining forces.
