Rush Announces 2026 Fifty Something Tour
After over a decade since their last performance together, Rush co-founders Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson are back on the road. The legendary duo will headline the Fifty Something Tour in 2026, celebrating more than 50 years of Rush music and honoring the late drummer and lyricist Neil Peart.
This marks the first time Lee and Lifeson have toured together since the R40 Tour finale in 2015, returning full circle to Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, where the tour kicks off. Fans can expect two sets per night, featuring a unique selection of 35 iconic Rush songs spanning their incredible career.
A Tribute to Neil Peart
Geddy Lee reflected on the emotional significance of the tour:
“It’s been over 10 years since Alex and I have performed the music of Rush alongside our fallen bandmate and friend Neil… Alex and I have done some serious soul searching and come to the decision that we miss it, and that it’s time for a celebration of 50-something years of Rush music.”
Neil Peart’s widow, Carrie Nuttall-Peart, and daughter, Olivia Peart, shared:
“Neil’s musicianship was singular… He profoundly shaped how fans connected with him and the band, giving voice and meaning to their own lives. As the band enters this new chapter, it promises to be truly unforgettable.”
Joining Lee and Lifeson is German drummer Anika Nilles, known for performing with Jeff Beck and for her solo work. The tour will also include additional musicians to expand Rush’s signature sound.
