Los Angeles metal band With A Vengeance have released their new single, “Oblivion,” accompanied by an official music video directed by Michael Levine.
The track is the first single from the band’s upcoming Born To Survive EP, due October 30, 2026, and arrives ahead of the band’s upcoming U.S. headlining tour, which begins October 14 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
With A Vengeance features founding Bad Wolves members Tommy Vext and Chris Cain, along with former Bad Wolves bassist Kevin Creekman, drummer Austin D’Amond, and guitarist Xander Raymond Charles.
Musically, “Oblivion” combines the weight of groove metal with the rhythmic vocal attack and swagger of early-2000s rap metal, while a large melodic chorus gives the track a more accessible edge.
Lyrically, the song examines mental health and the complicated relationship between patients and psychiatric medicine, touching on issues including informed consent, responsible treatment, and unintended consequences.
“Oblivion is about questioning what happens when something intended to help starts creating consequences of its own,” says vocalist Tommy Vext. “It’s a serious subject, but we didn’t want to preach — we wanted to make a heavy, aggressive song with a massive chorus and let the video take the idea somewhere completely unhinged.”

The accompanying video takes that concept in a decidedly darker direction.
Joe Letz of Lindemann appears as a mad scientist who captures and experiments on the members of With A Vengeance, turning them into subjects of a series of increasingly disturbing biological experiments.
The result lands somewhere between a horror movie and a pharmaceutical commercial gone completely off the rails.

Born To Survive EP
“Oblivion” serves as the opening statement from With A Vengeance and is the first single from the band’s upcoming Born To Survive EP.
The EP is scheduled for release on October 30, 2026, and was produced by Matt Guglielmo, official drummer and producer for The Acacia Strain, with vocal production by Spencer Sotelo of Periphery.
