Megadeth Announces First Run of 2026 Canadian Headline Shows

Following the January 23, 2026 release of their self-titled final studio album, Megadeth will launch their farewell tour in North America with a cross-country Canadian headline run. The tour kicks off February 15, 2026, in Victoria, BC, and wraps March 6 in Quebec City, QC. Fans can expect hits from Megadeth’s iconic catalog alongside tracks from the new album.

Special guests: Anthrax and Exodus.

Leading up to the album, Megadeth—Dave Mustaine, Teemu Mäntysaari (guitars), James LoMenzo (bass), and Dirk Verbeuren (drums)—have released two tracks:

Additionally, the album features a bonus reimagined version of “Ride The Lightning”, co-written by Mustaine and Metallica’s James Hetfield, Cliff Burton, and Lars Ulrich.

Dave Mustaine has confirmed this will be Megadeth’s final studio album. Over their career, the band has sold over 50 million records worldwide and received a GRAMMY® Award with 12 additional nominations.
