Never Say Die with Guest Artist Matt Walst at The Velvet Underground
Last night’s performance at the Velvet Underground was nothing short of electric when Ontario-based band Never Say Die opened for an American hard rock supergroup, Art of Anarchy. Never Say Die, an up-and-coming rock band led by frontman Reid Henry, Greeted by an eager crowd of fans, Never Say Die delivered a powerful set drawing on material from their recently released EP as well as some new unreleased songs.
As they neared the end of their set, frontman Reid Henry invited his friend and former bandmate Matt Walst (Three Days Grace, My Darkest Days) on stage for a rendition of My Darkest Days first hit single “Porn Star Dancing”. Walst’s presence further stoked the crowd’s energy and enthusiasm, sending the venue into a state of sheer hysteria.
The show was a resounding success and a testament to the power of rock music. In the end, the incredible performances of Never Say Die will not soon be forgotten, and future performances from Never Say Die should not be missed.
Update: Toronto rockers Deadset Society (formerly known as Never Say Die) have recently made headlines following their name change announcement. The band was forced to acquiesce to trademark infringement claims from UK record label Never Say Die Records. The band wasted no time making the change, as a revamped website was quickly developed at www.deadsetsociety.com, allowing fans to quickly find the band in their new guise. With the new website also comes the promise of new and exciting updates as the band continues their journey towards the rock scene, looking to carve out their own niche away from the shadow of their former name. Fans can look forward to the new content and updates as Deadset Society continues to generate buzz and interest with their energetic rock sound.
