Roger Waters is one of the most celebrated songwriters and musicians in rock history. He has sold more than 250 million records worldwide, including 83 million with Pink Floyd. His work with Pink Floyd includes 16 albums, as well as live albums and compilations. As a solo artist he has released four studio albums: The Pros And Cons Of Hitch Hiking (1984) Radio KAOS (1987) Amused To Death (1992) Is This The Life We Really Want? (2017). In 2004, Rolling Stone magazine ranked him number 18 on their list of 100 greatest artists of all time; he was inducted into the US Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1996.

Roger Waters has a strong sense of showmanship. The man behind legendary Pink Floyd albums The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and The Wall has cultivated a reputation for himself as one of the most influential and skilled live performers of his generation. Over the course of 2-3 hours (depending on which tour you’re talking about), Waters takes audiences on an immersive experience that combines music and visual technology to quite literally create a one-of-a-kind performance. On Friday evening at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, Roger Waters brought his ‘Us + Them Tour’ – named after the tacked-on track to Pink Floyd’s classic 1973 album “The Dark Side Of The Moon” – that kicked off back in May 2017 in Kansas City before spending nearly two years traveling across North America and Europe. With just under three months to go before the tour comes to a close in Newark, New Jersey this October, fans in Toronto were treated to a mesmerizing spectacle featuring a 32 song setlist (with an encore) spanning throughout Waters’ entire career highlighting not only his time with Floyd but also songs from his solo catalogue as well as covers of old favourites like “Comfortably Numb” and “Mother.”
