After more than a decade of touring and building a following, Archers are preparing to release their debut full-length album, I Was Here, I Can Prove It., arriving February 26 via Fearless Records. The Wisconsin-based trio has also released a video for its new single, “Burning Low.”
Featuring vocalist Nathanael Pulley, guitarist Ben Koehler, and bassist Grayson Mesarosh, Archers began in Madison, Wisconsin, working their way from relative obscurity to become a rising name in alternative rock. Their first full-length album reflects the experiences, sacrifices, and personal challenges that have shaped the band throughout its years on the road.
“Burning Low” pairs punchy guitar riffs with Pulley’s expressive vocals, balancing the track’s heavier moments with melodic hooks. The song draws on the realities of life as a touring musician, including the demands of being away from home and the pressure of trying to sustain a career in music.
“‘Burning Low’ is about the struggle of burning the candle from both ends and asks the question what happens when the ends finally meet,” the band explains.
The album looks back on a decade filled with long days on tour, time spent away from loved ones, and the self-doubt that can come with pursuing a dream. Despite those challenges, Archers say the experience has ultimately reinforced their commitment to the life they have chosen.
“I Was Here, I Can Prove It. is a culmination of all the thoughts and feelings we’ve experienced over the last decade of touring,” the band states. “This is everything we’ve been wanting to say for so long.”
The band describes the record as a statement about its journey and the determination to make that journey count, even when the outcome is uncertain.
Musically, the album brings together heavy guitar work, breakdowns, soaring melodies, and electronic elements. Its themes move between ambition and perseverance, loneliness and uncertainty, reflecting the highs and lows of trying to build something meaningful.
For Pulley, the record is intended to connect with listeners who have struggled to find their direction or questioned their place in the world. It speaks to anyone who has felt stuck or lost while searching for a sense of purpose.
With I Was Here, I Can Prove It., Archers turn years of experience into a record about persistence, the cost of chasing a dream, and the decision to keep going despite the doubts that come with it.
The album arrives February 26 through Fearless Records and is available for pre-order now. Watch the video for “Burning Low” and check out the complete track listing below.
