Cradle of Filth Unleash “Demagoguery” Video as UK/EU Tour Begins and The Screaming of the Valkyries Dominates Charts

Cradle of Filth are back with fire in their veins and darkness in their hearts. Following the explosive release of their 14th studio album The Screaming of the Valkyries via Napalm Records, the extreme metal icons have dropped the chilling music video for “Demagoguery” — just as they prepare to ignite stages across the UK and Europe this week with labelmates Nervosa in tow.

Directed by Shaun Hodson, the video’s visual narrative centers around a marionette known as Subject Eleven, manipulated by unseen forces through government, media, and religious influence. With themes of control, deception, and descent into chaos, it’s a haunting visual companion to the track’s pummeling riffs, blast beats, and Dani Filth’s unmistakable vocal contortions. The track hits like a demonic sermon, delivering a blasphemous liturgy wrapped in Cradle’s signature theatricality.

“Demagoguery” is one of several standout cuts from The Screaming of the Valkyries, an album that has stormed the charts — debuting at #2 on both the US and Canadian Hard Music Albums charts and #4 on the US Current Rock Albums chart. Produced by Scott Atkins at Grindstone Studios, the album melds macabre melody with blackened thrash and twisted gothic grandeur. Standout tracks include the frenetic opener “To Live Deliciously,” the mournfully majestic “Non Omnis Moriar,” and the epic “You Are My Nautilus.”

Fans can order The Screaming of the Valkyries now via Napalm Records in multiple limited-edition vinyls, CD bundles, and digital formats — a must-have for both loyal followers and curious newcomers.

As the Necromantic Fantasies tour rips across Europe, Cradle of Filth prove once again why they remain one of the most sinister and theatrical forces in modern metal. Watch the video, grab the album, and step willingly into the demagoguery.
