Danny Worsnop, lead singer of Asking Alexandria, rocked The Rockpile in Toronto last night!
Last night in Toronto, Canada, fans of Danny Worsnop were treated to the performance of their lives as the lead singer of Asking Alexandria took the stage at The Rockpile. The sold out crowd was abuzz with excitement from the second doors opened, and Danny didn’t disappoint them when he and his new bandmates took to the stage with The Death Of Me off their latest album, The New Reign. The Rockpile is a small venue on Queen St. West that houses a bar and live music venue on the first floor. It’s one of my favorite places to go for shows because it doesn’t feel like your typical nightclub. It has a laid-back atmosphere with lots of space for dancing and you don’t have to worry about waiting for an hour for a drink at the bar. Another great thing about this venue is that it’s relatively affordable with tickets going as low as $10-$15.

It was an amazing show and the energy from the crowd was out of this world. It’s crazy how you can feel it as soon as they start to play. I’m so grateful to have been able to experience a show like that.
The setlist consisted mostly of songs off their new album, Asking Alexandria, with a few older ones sprinkled in as well.

I’ve been a fan of Asking Alexandria for about five years now. I first became aware of the band when they were opening for All That Remains on their CHAOS tour back in 2010. When I heard that Danny Worsnop would be playing at the Rockpile for the first time since his return to the band, I knew I had to go. Last night was an amazing show and it reminded me how much I love live music.
