Geoff Tate’s Operation Mindcrime @ The Rockpile, on April 9th 2016, was an intense experience.
The atmosphere at the Rockpile was electric as the crowd anxiously awaited Geoff Tate’s arrival on stage. Geoff Tate is a name that is synonymous with the metal world. As the front man of Queensryche, he helped to pioneer and shape the sound of metal in the 1980s and 1990s. After leaving Queensryche in 2012, Tate embarked on a solo career.
The band played for almost two hours and it was definitely worth the ticket price. Geoff Tate’s voice is still as powerful as ever, and the band’s performance was flawless. They were able to capture the audience’s attention the entire time and kept them on their toes with a variety of music.
The concert was a mix of new songs, old hits, and fan favorites.
