MISS MAY I are back — and they’ve brought the chaos with them.
The Ohio metalcore giants just dropped their brand-new single “Pray For Silence”, and it’s everything fans have been craving: blistering riffs, a chorus that refuses to leave your head, and breakdowns that will level a floor. It’s proof that Miss May I can still deliver the kind of gut-punch metalcore that defined an era, while evolving it for today’s heavy scene.
The band didn’t hold back on the meaning behind this one either:
“As life grows heavier and the world feels like it’s at a breaking point, this song captures something we all crave — some peace, even just for a moment.”
That emotional weight bleeds through every lyric: white-noise screams, static signals, and the haunting plea for silence in a world that won’t stop screaming.

This is just the beginning. Miss May I confirmed a new album is on the way in 2026 — their first since re-recording Apologies Are For The Weak for its 15th anniversary last year, with cameos from heavy legends like Jake Luhrs (August Burns Red) and Scott Lewis (Carnifex).
Before that, they’ll be on the road with fellow 2010s icons Blessthefall, plus Dark Divine and Colorblind, starting September 9 in Seattle. The run hits Toronto on September 29 at The Opera House, with a stop at Warped Tour Orlando this November.
Miss May I have always been about resilience, and “Pray For Silence” feels like a rallying cry for the next era of the band. Heavy. Honest. Unshakable.
