Get Your Motor Running: REO Speedwagon Rocks the Budweiser Stage in Toronto

The Budweiser Stage in Toronto, Canada was host to one of the most memorable concerts of the summer on Thursday night when classic rock legends REO Speedwagon took the stage to delight their fans with hit after hit, including Keep on Loving You, Ridin’ the Storm Out, Take It on the Run, and many more. We were there and here are our top 5 moments from one of America’s greatest rock bands!

The sun was shining, the vibe was great and an iconic rock band from the ’80s headlined at a festival in Toronto. REO Speedwagon’s performance at the Budweiser stage had people singing along to their hits like Keep on Loving You, Take it on The Run and Can’t Fight This Feeling. All that combined with some amazing food vendors and a fully stocked beer garden made for a perfect summer day.

REO Speedwagon has been rocking out for over 40 years. With 12 platinum albums and six gold albums, this band is nothing short of a rock icon. The band’s newest album, Life As We Know It, was released on September 27th and was preceded by a single I Keep My Eyes Open. They kicked off their tour with a concert at the Budweiser stage in Toronto and had great success with their setlist.

The band’s live performance was nothing short of spectacular – they played their hits, such as Keep On Loving You, Time For Me To Fly and Can’t Fight This Feeling, and mixed them with some newer songs from their latest album, We Can’t Have It All.

How I Got There
One of the most accessible live music venues in Toronto, The Budweiser Stage was a short walk from Union Station. From Richmond Street, I took Bay Street south to Front Street and headed west until I reached the venue. Once I found it, I just followed the signs for Budweiser Stage and enjoyed an evening of live music!
