Nashville heavy music disruptor SHOWING TEETH has officially released her highly anticipated debut EP, A Fate Worse Than Loneliness, via Republic Records and Spinefarm.
The arrival of the EP comes alongside the release of a new music video for “Make It Out,” a track that showcases the unpredictable and genre-bending sound that has quickly made SHOWING TEETH one of the more intriguing new names in heavy music.
The “Make It Out” video captures the track’s restless energy with gritty footage and a claustrophobic performance that matches the song’s intensity.
Musically, “Make It Out” moves between glitchy riffs, palm-muted grooves, airy keys and crunching distortion, creating a sound that feels both chaotic and surprisingly catchy. The track finds SHOWING TEETH confronting anxiety and self-doubt head-on while pushing toward something more resilient.
The new EP follows the release of “Bad Exchanges,” a brutal introduction that is rapidly approaching one million streams. The track also earned attention from Revolver and Metal Hammer, with the latter naming it among its 12 Best New Metal Songs You Need To Hear Right Now.
SHOWING TEETH’s previously released track “Rip” has also surpassed one million streams, further establishing the momentum behind the project.
Alongside the EP, SHOWING TEETH has launched her first official merchandise collection, featuring a “Bad Exchanges” camo hat, Labyrinth longsleeve shirt and CD edition of A Fate Worse Than Loneliness.

The new EP arrives just as SHOWING TEETH prepares to hit the road this fall as direct support for PRESIDENT on their sold-out North American Campaign 2026.
The six-week run kicks off September 4 in Nashville, Tennessee, at Brooklyn Bowl Nashville and will travel across North America before wrapping up October 14 in Dallas, Texas, at House of Blues Dallas.
With A Fate Worse Than Loneliness now out in the world and a sold-out North American tour ahead, SHOWING TEETH is entering the next stage of her rise with plenty of noise already behind her.
