Five Finger Death Punch have officially announced their tenth studio album, Legacy, set for release in digital format on July 31, with physical editions including CD, vinyl, and cassette arriving September 18.
The announcement comes alongside the release of a brand-new single, “De Oppresso Liber,” which is available now with an accompanying music video. The band has also confirmed a major 20th Anniversary World Tour, kicking off in July across North America with special guests Cody Jinks and Eva Under Fire.
Speaking about the album, guitarist Zoltan Bathory described Legacy as both reflective and deeply personal.
“Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests. It’s a reflection on the journey, the lessons, the victories, the struggles, and everything we’ve experienced over the last two decades.”
He added that the band’s success has always been shared with their global fanbase, emphasizing the connection built over 20 years of touring and recording.
Frontman Ivan Moody echoed that sentiment, noting that while Legacy looks back on their history, it also pushes forward.
“Twenty years is a milestone, not a destination. We’re incredibly proud of this record because it captures everything people love about Five Finger Death Punch while also pointing toward where we’re headed next.”
The new single “De Oppresso Liber” continues that theme, with Bathory describing it as a statement of intent and a tribute to resilience and protection.
The album follows the success of recent single “Eye of the Storm,” which has already reached the Top 5 at rock radio and accumulated millions of streams and video views since release.
Legacy features ten tracks in total, including “Nails in the Coffin,” “Everybody Lies,” and the title track “Legacy,” blending the band’s signature heavy riffs with melodic and introspective moments.
The album will be available in multiple formats across various exclusive vinyl and CD editions through retailers and the band’s official store.
With Legacy, Five Finger Death Punch mark two decades as one of modern hard rock’s most commercially successful and recognizable acts, while setting the stage for their next era.
