Progressive art-rock outfit The Pineapple Thief have released their new single ‘Hold The Ashes’, marking their first release through InsideOutMusic, alongside the reveal of a major North American headline tour set for late 2026 — with multiple Canadian stops confirmed.
The new track arrives as the band completes work on an upcoming, as-yet-unannounced studio album. Its accompanying video, directed by longtime collaborator Jeremy George of Blacktide Productions, captures the group performing at School Farm Studios in the UK, keeping things raw and performance-focused.
Frontman Bruce Soord describes the song as a reflection on mortality and meaning, noting the recurring imagery of “ashes” as a way to explore life’s fragility and acceptance of its impermanence.
Canadian Fans Get Multiple Stops on 2026 Tour
While the band will begin their run across the U.S. in November 2026, the Canadian leg stands out with four key dates:
- Nov 22 – Quebec City, QC – Capitole
- Nov 24 – Montreal, QC – Beanfield Theatre
- Nov 25 – Toronto – Danforth Music Hall
- Dec 13 – Vancouver – Hollywood Theatre
The Toronto date at the iconic Danforth Music Hall is expected to be one of the standout shows of the Canadian run, placing the city firmly in the middle of the tour’s momentum. Montreal and Quebec City also secure back-to-back appearances before the band closes out Canada on the West Coast in Vancouver.
For Canadian fans, the routing confirms a full cross-country presence rather than a single isolated stop — a clear sign of the band’s strong following in the region.
