In part 2 of the interview with Chip Z Nuff on Lipstick & Leather with Ryan Trush, Chip discusses several interesting moments from his career. He reveals that Enough’s Enough came close to joining Mötley Crüe’s Dr. Feelgood tour but speculates that their lower record sales in Canada might have influenced the decision to bring Faster Pussycat instead. He reflects on how the band maintained their momentum by touring with big names like Def Leppard, Cheap Trick, and Badlands.

Chip also shares an exciting but ultimately unreleased VH1 show where Enough’s Enough competed against Bow Wow Wow in a challenge-based reality show. Despite winning the contest, which promised a record deal and a European tour, nothing materialized from the experience.

On the personal front, Chip talks about his wife, Catalina, who is co-authoring a book with Jack Russell of Great White, touching on the emotional weight of the 2003 Rhode Island nightclub fire. He praises her musical talent as well, highlighting her upcoming solo album featuring contributions from well-known musicians like Derek Sherinian and Joel Hoekstra.

In the latter part of the interview, Chip recalls a missed opportunity to have Bob Rock produce one of their albums. Despite Rock’s interest in working with them, budget constraints prevented the collaboration. However, Chip remains proud of their work on the Strength album, which was co-produced by Paul Lani, and fondly remembers the vibrant atmosphere during the recording sessions in Los Angeles.
