Sons of Apollo played a great show at the Opera House in Toronto last night! The band was on fire, the venue was packed, and the crowd was loving it. Here’s a quick recap of the evening.
The band was tight all night, delivering a high-energy performance of their progressive metal tunes. Vocalist Jeff Scott Soto sounded great, and the rest of the band was in top form. The highlight of the set was probably their cover of Pink Floyd’s “Welcome to the Machine,” which they absolutely nailed.
The Opera House is a great venue for a show like this – it’s big enough to accommodate a large crowd, but not so big that it feels impersonal. The sound was excellent, and the stage production was top-notch.
The crowd was absolutely into it from start to finish. There were plenty of headbangers and air guitarists in the audience, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. It was great to see such enthusiasm for progressive metal in Toronto!
All in all, it was a great show from start to finish. If you’re a fan of Sons of Apollo or progressive metal in general, you definitely need to catch them live if you can.
